Hiking without luggage in the Fish River Canyon

Do you fancy an unparalleled adventure, such as a hike in the world's second largest canyon in Africa?  Gondwana Collection Namibia offers the unique Fish River Canyon Trails (3 to 4 nights) in the northern reaches of the Fish River Canyon. Hike together with friends and family and experience this unique natural wonder up close and carefree.

Luggage and equipment are transported to the various rustic self-catering accommodations along the hiking route, which impress with their unique location on the banks of the Fish River or high up on the canyon rim. Admire flora and fauna along the way, spend cosy evenings around the campfire under a clear starry sky. 

The three slackpacking options of the Fish River Canyon Trails are the Klipspringer Trail (17 km hike, 3 nights), the Zebra Trail (35 km, 3 nights) and the Fish Eagle Trail (35 km, 4 nights). Between four and 14 people are allowed per hiking group.

Due to the high temperatures in the canyon, the Fish River Canyon Trails are only offered during the Namibian winter months from April to September.
