Distribution: Pale Chanting-Goshawks can be found throughout Namibia, from the arid savannahs to the open grasslands.
Diet: These goshawks mainly prey on small mammals, lizards, and large insects. They are skilled hunters, often seen gliding gracefully in the sky before diving to catch their prey.
Description: The Pale Chanting-Goshawk has a pale grey plumage with distinct darker markings on its wings and tail. Its name comes from its melodious and repetitive vocalizations that resonate in the regions where they are found.
Breeding: The breeding behaviour of Pale Chanting-Goshawks includes building nests in tall trees or on rocky outcrops. The female lays a few eggs, and both parents take turns caring for the hatchlings.
Size: Approximately 55cm.
Weight: Around 600g.
