Albert's Burrowing skinks are endemic to Namibia.

Introduction: Albert's Burrowing skinks (Sepsina alberti) are endemic to Namibia. Each short leg has 4 small, clawed toes. A blunt head has large eyes with scaly lower eyelids. They forage around leaf litter in rocky outcrops.

Distribution: Kaokoland from Opuwo extending north to Epupa Falls.

Diet: Not known.

Colouring: A pale greenish back has a golden-yellow tinge. The belly is grey-white. The tail is bright blue at the tip which acts as a distraction from the more vulnerable head and body when attacked or disturbed.

Breeding: Not known.

Size: Max SVL 55mm.
