The striped dwarf leafed-toed gecko is a small gecko with a cylindrical body.

Introduction: The striped dwarf leafed-toed gecko (Goggia lineata) is a small gecko with a cylindrical body with a rounded snout on a short, deep head. The tail is also cylindrical and about the same length as the body. They are nocturnal and terrestrial and shelter under dead aloes, trash or under dead bark.

Distribution: Low lying areas of southern Namibia south of Aus.

Diet: They hunt at night, emerging after sunset for insects, usually termites.

Colouring: The back is light grey with a dark strip pattern. The belly is off-white.

Breeding: Females lay 2 round, hard-shelled eggs under the bark of trees or garden debris.

Size: SVL 25 top 35mm. Max SVL 32mm.
