White namaqualand daisy

A White Namaqualand Daisy (Dimorphotheca pluvialis) brightens up many a home or garden with their characteristic large white daisy flowers and blunted toothed leaves. Many gardeners grow this plant with the Orange Namaqualand Daisy as both species can be grown in sandy soils of southern Namibia such as Fish River Canyon, the central banks of the Orange River and north to Aus.

Flowering time is from July to mid-September. They attract insects and butterflies and are frost hardy. They require full sunshine and some watering and the flower colouring and time may vary from region to region.
