Introduction:The three-spot gourami or blue gourami (Trichopodus trichopterus) is a popular aquarium fish species admired for its beautiful colouration and peaceful nature. Native to Southeast Asia, it is a labyrinth fish that possesses a unique respiratory system allowing it to breathe air from the water's surface.

Distribution: The three-spot gourami is native to countries in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Diet: In the wild, the three-spot gourami feeds on small insects, crustaceans, and plant matter. In captivity, it can be fed with a varied diet including flake food, pellets, and frozen or live foods like brine shrimp and daphnia.

Size: The three-spot gourami can grow up to 10 to 15 cm in length.
