Habitat: This bird is commonly found in dry woodland and savanna habitats, often near water sources. It prefers areas with baobab trees and other large trees, where it can find suitable nesting sites.

Diet: The Black-Cheeked Lovebird is primarily herbivorous, feeding on a variety of seeds, fruits, and berries. It is known to be a crop pest in some areas where it forages on cultivated crops.
