Fun Fact: Topaz is found in pegmatites and granites
Introduction: Namibian topaz crystals from the granites at Klein Spitzkoppe are famous as they have to be broken off the granite. It is almost impossible to remove them from such a hard rock. Topaz is found in pegmatites and granites and can be linked to other common pegmatites minerals such as schorl, microcline and quartz.
