Fun Fact: There is a small population observed in northern Kaokoland.

Introduction: Hellmich's Wolf snake (Lycophidion hellmichi) is a small, slender snake that can be found in a rocky arid savannah type habitat.

Distribution: There is a small population observed in northern Kaokoland south of Epupa Falls.

Diet: Lizards and skinks.

Colouring: The body is dark brown with white tipped scales and 3 thin dorsal stripes. The head is also dark brown.

Breeding: Females lay around 3 or 4 eggs.

Size: Max SVL male 345mm, female 530mm.
