Introduction: Koch's thick-toed gecko (Pachydactylus kochii) is another species of thick-toed gecko endemic to Namibia. It is long and slender with longer limbs than most other geckos. They prefer open sandy plains with scattered boulders for protection.
Distribution: In and around the Cape Cross region and other northern Namib Desert regions.
Diet: Small insects.
Colouring: A greyish white body above with a chalky white belly.
Breeding: Females lay 1 or 2 clutches of a couple of hard-shelled eggs in sandy soil around October to March.
Size: SVL 40 to 50mm. Max SVL 54mm.
