Distribution: Throughout Namibia less for the north-east. Found in Etosha National Park, Namib Desert, Epupa Falls, Ruacana Falls, Brandberg Mountains, Spitzkoppe, Erongo Mountains and the Kalahari Desert.


Diet: Spiders and other insects.

Colouration: Dark yellow-orange to orange-brown with a single dark line visible running down the the centre of the upperside mid-body exoskeleton.

Breeding: The average litter size of this species is 22.

Maximum size: 50mm.
