Introduction: Pleasant Oranges (Ceriagrion suave) can be observed at backwaters and oxbow lakes and rain pools. Suavis is a Latin word for 'sweet, pleasant, attractive on the eye and charming'.

Distribution: Kavango and Zambezi River floodplains, Kaudom GP and the western reaches of Bwabwata National Park.

Colouration: Similar to the Common Orange. The head and thorax are pale brown to orange, the eyes are green and the females are brownish.

Breeding: Oval eggs are laid in open water.

Flight season: Throughout the year.

Conservation: Not threatened.
