Introduction: Glaucous Sprites (Pseudagrion glaucescens) have long and slender bodies. They are a river species.

Distribution: Common along the Kavango, Kwando and Zambezi Rivers.

Colouration: Pale blue-green body (glaucescens) with black markings and greenish eyes.

Breeding: Females appear at the water for reproduction only.

Flight season: Throughout the year with recordings from August, November, December, February March and June.

Conservation: Not threatened.
