Distribution: Common in the Kavango and Zambezi Rivers.

Colouration: Yellow abdomen with contrasting black markings.

Breeding: Larvae burrow in the sand in river sections associated with reeds and fast-flowing water.

Flight season: December to March

Max size: Over 50mm.

Conservation: Not threatened.
