Distribution: Zambezi Region (formerly the Caprivi Strip) and other northern Namibian locations.
Breeding/Larval food: Eggs are minute. The pupae and larvae are much bigger than, but very similar to, those of the Commodores.
Colouration: Dry-season forms are darker than wet-season forms. They appear dirty white in flight. There wings glow with an iridescent, pearlescent sheen, with pale green or violet.
On the wing: Throughout the year.
Wingspan: 65 to 90mm.
