Fun Fact: Common Dotted Borders inhabit wooded areas.

Introduction: Common Dotted Borders (Mylothris agathina) inhabit wooded areas. They are common and widespread in their distribution range.

Distribution: Zambezi Region (formerly the Caprivi Strip) , Epupa Falls, Kunene River region, Otavi, Grootfontein , Tsumeb, Tsumkwe, north-eastern Kalahari Desert .

Breeding/Larval food: Batches of yellow, barrel-shaped eggs are laid on food plants such as several species of sour plums and African sandalwood.

Colouration: Characteristic black wing vein dots and distinctive underside spots on white and yellow grounding.

On the wing: Throughout the year in warmer locations.

Wingspan: 50 to 65mm.
