Diet: Feeds on small invertebrates, aquatic insects, and zooplankton.

Colouring: Silver body with multiple dark vertical bands along its sides, giving it a banded appearance.

Breeding: Breeds during the rainy season, with the female scattering her eggs among aquatic plants.

Size: Grows up to 4 cm in length.
