Distribution: Omatako Dam, Caprivi.

Diet: Forages under overhanging vegetation along stream banks for crustaceans, fish, spiders and plant matter.

Description: Ochropus refers to 'yellow feet'. They are often confused with the wood sandpiper which has longer, paler legs and a longer and narrower barred tail.

Breeding: Breeds out of Namibian range.

Size: 23cm.

Weight: 85g.

Wingspan: 60cm.
