Diet: These ducks are omnivorous and feed on a variety of aquatic plants, seeds, insects, and small fish found in their wetland environments.

Description: The Knob-Billed Duck is characterized by its large size, striking black and white plumage, and, most notably, the unique knob at the base of its bill.

Breeding: Knob-Billed Ducks construct nests on the ground, concealed in dense vegetation near water sources. The female incubates the eggs and cares for the young.
