Distribution: Red-Necked Buzzards are distributed across various regions of Namibia, including savannahs, grasslands, and some wooded areas.

Diet: These buzzards primarily feed on small mammals, reptiles, and birds. They are known for their keen eyesight and patience while scanning the ground for potential prey.

Description: The Red-Necked Buzzard is named for the distinctive reddish-brown colouration on its neck and chest. It has a generally dark brown plumage with contrasting white and pale markings on its underparts.

Breeding: These buzzards build nests in trees or on rocky cliffs. The female lays a few eggs, and both parents participate in incubation and raising the chicks.
