Good news travels fast
Gondwana Collection Namibia is thrilled to broadcast the good word: Namibia is ready to welcome international guests [from selected countries which are not deemed high risk] without quarantine or travel restrictions.
Namibia’s President Hage Geingob announced that the state of emergency be lifted at 12:00 tonight, 17 September 2020. In view of the decreasing number of new Covid-19 infections in our country, travel restrictions for international guests will be eased further as from today/1 October 2020!
As from [date], international visitors can enter Namibia via Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport …[more airports?].
The land borders to our neighbouring countries [only SA?] will also open at specific border posts on [date if different].
Upon arrival, travellers [only] have to present a negative Covid-19 test not older than 72 hours/7 days.
Travellers are screened on arrival. If they display symptoms, a Covid-19 test will be conducted.
Travellers have to present their set travel itinerary, medical questionnaire and proof of travel insurance covering Covid-19 related medical expenses.
Guests need to have an additional Covid-19 test on Day 5 and need to be available on Day 7 or 8 to be informed of their results.
Gondwana Collection Namibia in partnership with OSH-Med International has tailor-made packages to provide our guests peace of mind and a hassle-free stay in Namibia.
All our properties have been evaluated and approved by the Ministry of Health & Social Services, in terms of Covid-19 protocols and regulations.
