Introduction: Information on this species is very scarce indeed. It is believed that it forages along river beds were greater concentrations of insect can be found. Loose bark of the Acacia trees, common along the Kuiseb River are a favoured roosting places for the Namib long-eared bat.

Colouring: Light fur consistent with desert animals. Light fluffy-brown fur with olive-brown wing membranes.
