Londiningi Guesthouse is located in Eros Park, an upmarket and tranquil suburb of Namibia's capital city Windhoek. Individual travellers, families and self drivers can look forward to a warm welcome in this comfortable guesthouse. The business community also prefer staying because of the close vicinity to the Central Business District and complementary Wi-Fi connection. The overall general ambiance, attention to detail and service provided by owners Natalie and Alexander are second to none.
Long chairs in the lush garden next to the clear swimming pool will help you chill and relax. There is also a lounge area inside the main house as well as one in between the dining room and the pool.
Many of the art objects on display in Londiningi or in the craft shop are for sale, without any profit going to the guesthouse. This is to benefit fully the many local artists and craftsmen they support. They make ideal souvenirs or last minute gifts. So if you wish to buy something that won't take up too much space in your luggage before leaving Namibia, your purchase will be greatly appreciated. Londiningi is a Nguni word (of which Zulu is a dialect) which means 'he who protects and shelters'.
Facilities include a laundry and ironing service and a baby cot. Airport transfers and taxi services can be arranged.
Meals are ordered and served in the outside dining room. A sumptuous breakfast or an evening meal of French and Namibian cuisine is served on their 'daintily decorated' tables. Dinner is served on request or the owners will be only too happy to recommend a nearby restaurant; Joe's Beerhouse being the closest and most well-known. Lunch packs can be ordered in advance.
There are 9 rooms at Londiningi Guesthouse. Every room has terracotta floor tiles and simple but tasteful furnishings and fabrics. An en-suite bathroom with shower, roof fan, wall heater, mini-bar, in-room safe, tea/coffee station, luggage rack, wardrobe/hanging space, TV and a free wi-fi Internet connection are standard.
Family Room: Suitable for a family of up to 4 people
Rooms: a variety of double, single & twin bedded rooms are available
Peri Naua is an association found in Namibia in 2002 by a French school teacher. It is an initiative to bring to the attention of tourists a number of activities that will benefit Namibian people, particularly for pre-school, primary and secondary education. This includes maintaining a small vegetable garden and to operate a small kitchen. Clothing and educational materials are required as are volunteer English speaking teachers at pre-primary schools. Natalie and Alexander at Londiningi Guest House are the initial contact for the Peri Naua Association in Windhoek.

These are honest reviews, both good and bad, from our travellers who visited this property.
Great first stop - comfortable, clean, with helpful staff. The best breakfast we had during the entire trip.
Really enjoyed staying here - friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, nice pool and close to good restaurants.
I loved this guest house, very open, comfortable and so asthetically pleasing. I would recommend this guest house.
Absolutely loved this guest house. The food and service was amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. Very much recommend.
Great service, clean, nicely furnished rooms, very friendly French owner and staff, excellent food. Very good value for money.
The owner, Alex, is a lovely man. The food was excellent. The rooms could do with a bit of redecoration but Alex and the food more than make up for it.
Londiningi was fabulous. The hosts and staff are very warm and friendly. The dinners were delicious and prepared with care. Highly recommend this place!
Another great new discovery for us. The hosts are very interesting people, had some great conversations. The dinner cuisine is superb, best meals of the trip.
Great family room and great food. Owners really accommodating- were happy for us to leave our 2 empty suitcases with them, which helped heaps with room in our car
Nice enough and only a five minute drive to downtown Winhoek. Proprietor was friendly and made big box breakfasts for us and opened the gate at 04:00 for us to leave for the airport.
Quirky, fun, hospitable welcome to Namibia from Alexander and Nathalie. Fabulous food. Really clean room. Safe & secure environment. Really helpful hosts. And near to Joes beerhouse!
the people are very kind, they advice us very well, the room was perfect end clean, the location is quiet end near the centre.... the owner gave us a bottle of wine forcelebrate our marriage!!!
This guest house was excellent. The owner Alex was very helpful on our second visit and sorted out a problem with the car hire. The food was great and the staff really friendly. The rooms are lovely.
It\'s a really nice place, and very comfortable, but we thought in the end we`d rather have been closer to `downtown` Windhoek. They packed us an excellent breakfast the day we had to leave for the airport at 5 am.
Beautiful and comfortable rooms. As a family of four, we had two rooms that were connected--a great arrangement. Alex and Natalia were the perfect hosts. Dinner was superb (so much better than eating at Joe`s Beerhouse).
A good place to start and end the journey, good friendly service, clean rooms with good facilities and good meals. We hadn`t considered the outlying lodges/farms which we would probably use if we returned to Windhoek in order to be outside the city.
Really nice lodge to relax the last day before getting to the airport back home. Good location, however if you come for visiting Windhoek you need a car. Owners are very available in particular if you start chatting with them. Quality of rooms and food very high.
