The other 2 are located next to each other in one building and are ideal combination for families or a small group of friends. Each chalet has 2 x quarter beds and facilities similar to the Dune Chalets.
Garden Court: 4 x Garden Court rooms are next to the lodge, so-called because they are set in their own 'garden court' with similar facilities to the Dune Chalets. They are equipped with twin beds but do not have a mini-bar/fridge.

Kalahari Farmhouse offers guests wholesome tranquillity. Each quaint cabin offers a slice of bliss with fireplace and rustic farmhouse character. A wonderful owner managed guest house in the village of Stampriet. An eclectic mix of local antiques & warm hospitality enhance your stay.
The meerkat or suricate is a small mammal which inhabits the Kalahari - we do not know why this lodge is named after them. Perhaps if you stay here and find out you can tell us and then we can make this slightly more descriptive.
The third lodge on the Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve (along with Suricate & Camethorn Lodges). The Kalahari is absolutely magnificent and really should be a part of any visit to Namibia.
These are honest reviews, both good and bad, from our travellers who visited this property.
Changed our room to a chalet up on the dune. Nice food and service, relaxing for the drive to Windhoek.
Nice place, dune chalet is very good, service and food ok even if not as good as other places. Vote 7/10
Beautiful location, lovely rooms, friendly staff. We all enjoyed the Cheetah feeding drive in the evening.
really beautiful!!!! It was like being in a Wilbur Smith romance.... only problem was no hot water in our room..
As always very good - expecially since Paul is there caring for everything and always good for a chat and a laugh!
Definitely a bit quirky. But comfortable rooms and food and staff great. Not as luxurious as other places but fine.
The best place I have ever been! Thanks so much to the entire team there! It was also the best food we had on our trip!
Very nice ranch with a variety of activities and beautiful landscape. Perfect for families with kids. Good food and service.
Very beautiful; very kind. For our honeymoon they prepared champagne and fruit basket and a paper with them congratulations.
Nice place to stay. The garden court rooms are very well suited for families with kids. Horseback riding is highly recommended.
The dune chalet was excellent. Their game reserve is much more interesting than expected and we really enjoyed their game drive.
Absolutely fantastic; the accommodation and staff were superb. On of the best places I have ever had the pleasure of staying in.
Nice lodge with very friendly staff. Not a lot of activities being offered so we were glad that we were only staying there for one night
Nice camp sites with game wandering around, friendly helpful staff and nice pool. Afternoon tea and cake and good night drive and walking tour with San guides.
after having seen so many other places and so many animals, this was not our favorite but a fine layover on our way south. next time we wouldn`t do the game drive.
Nice camp with very good facilitie and access to the lodge's facilities restaurant, pool, bar etc. Nice game rides and a Swedish Cheetah guy :-). Highly recommended.
The first stop on our journey and we were pleasantly surprised. The surroundings were spectacular, the activities very reasonably priced and a good variety and lovely staff.
Of all of the places where we stayed, Bagatelle won the prize for the best overall service. The staff really went out of our way to help us and make sure our stay was perfect.
Bagatelle has improved a lot since my last visit two years ago. Its one of those lodges that are constantly good. The food very good and the staff friendly. I like their dining boma.
Perfect from every aspect. We loved our stay there and this was made particularly special by our horse ride with Tash whose kindness and humour we have taken back with us from Namibia.
We stayed here 2 days, maybe 1 day is enough. Service good and food excellent. We dind't like to see the cheetah inside a fence. We would like to see them in a greater reserve, as Okonjima for example.
Loved it. Great atmosphere & friendly, well-informed staff. The dune chalet was spectacular & comfortable. Sadly we both got food-poisoning. These things happen, but might be worth pointing it out to them!
Excellent accommodation - we were just a bit disappointed that we did not have a cabin on the dunes but really enjoyed our stay. The walk with the Bushman was fantastic and so was the cheetah feeding and sundowner.
Amazing place, saw and fed Cheetahs, room was excellent, safari's were great (we did a horse safari, night safari and sundowner) Food was just amazing, and what a cool setting. Kids had a ball with the tame animals hanging around
very very nice ;beautiful area ; our favorite ! garden rooms : clean and functional rooms ; activities at the top : we do sunset nature drive and cheetah feeding and bushmen walk ; very nice and friendly guides ; excellent dinner outside
the cheetah feeding was great! the accommodations were nice, and the dinner superb, but the staff seemed a little bit overwhelmed at check-in. they have various friendly animals roaming through the common areas, we pet a gemsbok and an ostrich!
Good location for us to break up the journey back to Windhoek but not as inspiring as some of the other places. The food was really good and the staff very friendly but it felt a little overpriced compared to some of the other places we stayed.
Nice place to stay seeing the cheetah feeding and being so close to them was very good. The only thing I think they could improve on would be to have someone help you with your cases to the rooms as we found it difficult carrying them across the sand and our room was one of the first.
Great Place , the staff is really friendly . The restaurant, bar and shop are very good and the activities too. Ablutions of campsites are good but we did not have hot water at the campsite number 2. Fortunately the staff was very nice and offered us the opportunity to shower in a bungalow.
Bagatelle Game Ranch is 50 minutes from Mariental on the C20 and the D1268 district roads. 270km from Windhoek on the B1 main road, turn off onto the C21 at Kalkrand, then onto the D1268 district road
