These are honest reviews, both good and bad, from our travellers who visited this property.
Far away from Sesriem, but all the rest of accomodation was fully booked. i would improve the dinner.
Excellent, greatly appreciated welcome (drinks) by the exploiter (the only place where this was done).
This was an absolute gem and we will tell all of our friends about it! Food and service were outstanding.
Had a very nice reception. Facilities has a lot of character. Service is good and they understand their target market.
Very nice lodge, good location between Namib desert (sossusvlei) and Naukluft mountains. Friendly team and comfortable room.
Very simple chalet accommodation, but good food and excellent advice on local area. Swimming pool too small to be of any use.
Price for dinner shock at R230 for what you get. Also price per night quite steep in comparison with other lodges we have stayed.
Lovely rooms in this lodge. Excellent food and good service. The owners spent time chatting with guests which made it very personal.
Although little Sossus Lodge is a bit far, we had great experience there and the owner Pierre is a very responsible and friendly guy.
Very welcoming and charming lodge. Our chalet had an amazing view. The lodge also provides a brekfast pack before heading out to the dunes.
Lovely location and views; well appointed bandas, good service. Not much to do (walking/driving) in the immediate vicinty compared to Weltevrede.
Very nice place with friendly staff. Pierre, the manager, was the nicest, most helpful manager of any of the lodge managers I interacted with. Good food.
Beautiful and professional, please tell guests the cost for dinner as this is a set menu. Again you cannot braai , but have to move to the camping ground.
Pleasant stay, friendly and helpful staff. Lighting a little too subdued in the dining room. Good food. Comfortable accommodation. A little oasis in the desert.
We only stayed 1 night. The sun downer drive was exceptional, up a hill with a superb view of the valley and surrounding mountians. Very nice guide drove us up.
Stayed in a chalet. It was very good. The food was also very good. The staff asked about any food allergies when we arrived and catered for my wife`s gluten free diet.
Wonderful time at this small family run lodge. Nice to have a set meal for a change and it was really appreciated. Also did have triple share room at a reasonable price.
Great stop off with the added plus of exceptional drives. We did a sundown drive and a day trip to Sossus Vlei and saw everything with our brilliant guide. Money well spent.
Toller Platz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefahlt. Gigantische Aussicht von den Hauschen aus und klasse Essen. Auch nach Sossusvlei zu kommen war kein Problem. Das ist leicht zu machen.
Little Sossus had the best wi-fi connection of all the places I stayed, and the food was delicious. The room was charming with all of the stone work and I enjoyed the sundowner drive.
Great location, nice chalet, Service very poor, food excellent but I had to ask a proper vegetarian meal even if they knew from your reservation. The second day the vegetarian meal was delicious.
Great little place just outside Sossusvlei. Staff were excellent and provided us with a breakfast bag if you want to get up early to go to Sossusvlei. Rooms were very nice and dinner was top marks.
Service was great, but disappointed with the state of the lodge. Seemed outdated and the lack of air conditioning was a problem here. Days were extremely hot and the rooms held the heat into the night. Would not return.
Delightful place. Very comfortable setting though the rooms were hot with only fans and no AC. The dinners here were excellent - a pleasant surprise. Kind service. After Le Mirage, this place had us feeling much more at home.
Very good. Very welcoming hosts and a good package of accommodation and meals. Nice dinner, breakfast packs on offer for those wanting to leave early for Sossusvlei. We didn't do the local game drive as we'd been to Etosha already.
To recommand; apartement good; turned out to be much better than we thought in the first moment; meals (bakery!) were super !! very friendly (a little bit far away from Sesriem); had problem with the internet connection; we could not pay with VISA
Service at Little Sossus lodge was fine. On arrival, receptionist said we could easily do all of Sossusvlei in one day, so no need to already go their for sunset on the first day. We followed his advice and relaxed, but later felt sorry about this decision.
Despite the appearance of the chalets from the outside the rooms are big, cool and well appointed. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Reception on arrival was very good. Food was expensive and not quite up to the level of most other lodges. Wi-Fi working, but very slow.
A lovely family run lodge. Very comfortable spacious room. Friendly staff with good advice and information about local attractions as well as Sossuvlei. Perfectly situated for exploring the dunes and the staff help you plan your itinerary for your visit. Lovely lodge - if a little pricey
Little Sossus Lodge is situated south east of Sesriem. The lodge is at the junction of the C19 and the D854.
