These are honest reviews, both good and bad, from our travellers who visited this property.
Under maintenance. All in all it did not live up to our expectations. I suggest you advice your clients not to go there.
Basic accommodation. With just little adjustments, I think they can improve much. The food in the restaurant is wonderful!
OMG nothing went right here, toilets that kept running, broken door handle, empty fridge, but still it was a very pleasant experience and the owner is a real nice man
Nice place for one overnight. Hostess a little too communicative, good breakfast. Very negativ that there was NO heating at all although the cold season, we really were freezing.........
Lovely contact with the staff. The owner was very helpfull with telling some very interesting places! Very cheap food in the restaurant and you get so much!!!Small town, next to supermarkt....
The hotel rooms are very small and could be little cleaner. But other than that it is a good stay in Kamanjab. The Oase Garni staff is super friendly and helpful. Because of the nice staff we would book the Oase Garni again anytime.
The service was nice, the guesthouse and rooms were o.k. (unfortunately the pool was under construction!), location of the `Oase` could have been better. Next time we would try the `Oppi Koppi` at Kamanjab. The Himba Village was not, what we have expected!
the manager has changed (we stayed there 3 years ago) The swimming pool is not correctly maintained (doubtless by ignorance) and the dirty carpets into the rooms are unnecessary. The place is very welcoming but, unfortunatly we went only european staying there. Its a great pity.
Melissa's Guest House is situated in Kamanjab. At the cross roads (C40 and C35) go south, turn east at the supermarket and the guest house is a little further on the right hand side.Download Map
