Namibia's favourite seaside destination is not just about the past. Sport and adventure rate highly. Adrenalin rushes include sky-diving, paragliding, dune-boarding and sand-skiing. On the water your can surf and windsurf, hop on a yacht for the morning, kayak and take a catamaran trip in the company of seals and dolphins. More sedate pastimes include a cultural township tour, admire flamingoes and other water birds at the Walvis Bay Lagoon and take a ride on the dunes and beaches on a horse or camel. All great fun!

Favorite lodge of the entire trip! Service was exceptional--they made restaurant reservations for us, called one of our activities to make alternate arrangements, and the laundry service was affordable and prompt. We loved the modern vibe and the casual elegance. Breakfast was amazing!
