Percival's legless skink

Introduction: A subspecies of Percival's legless skinks (Acontias percivali occidentalis) can be found in Namibia. They rummage and burrow in soil around the base of trees, particularly in loose leaf litter.
Diet: Dead logs are a favourite haunt to find food such as grubs and earthworms.
Colouring: Olive to grey-brown body, occasionally black.
Breeding: A single brood of 1 to 3 babies is born in summer.
Size: Max SVL male 239mm, female 257mm.
