Orange thread-gilled worm
Introduction: Orange thread-gilled worm (Timarete capensis) have many tentacles on the first 3 segments of the body with an over-abundance of long, twisted thread-like gills over the remaining areas. Only the orange gills and tentacles are usually visible as they tend to spend most of their time buried in sediment or between muscles.
Distribution: Throughout Namibian coastal waters.
Colouration: Bright orange.
Max size: 90mm.
